Mission Late

Just watched the Padres in San Diego play the Astros- SWEET! What seating do you prefer at a game?

For example: I had the privelidge to be seated in a suite with a butler..... SO COOL! But I saw the other seating around the field and thought about which was the best seat in the house? Padres won!

  1. i've sat in many different seating locations at many different games, minors and majors. and i think the first few rows, behind either of the dugouts, but towards homeplate, not very far down the line. you don't have the net/high fence you get right behind home. you arent far away, you can see every part of the field, and you're still close enough to heckle!
  2. Well, it doesnt get any better than that, does it? I used to sit in the dugout seats in Anaheim all the time. We had our own chef, etc. Lots of fun. And the seats are great. I'm not a big fan of Petco to tell you the truth. It seems as if the architect didnt know what he wanted to do. A little of several ball parks, with no continuity. I also dont like the fact that you have to go up so many stairs to get in. But hey, it's in San Diego, so it cant be all that bad. I generally like sitting close on the first base side just behind the base or right behind the plate. But in Petco, I think I'd like to sit in the restaurant in left field. That's the hallmark of Petco. I lived in SoCal for 15 years, and sort of adopted the Pads as my West Coast team. Which was a problem for me when they played the Yankees in the series. But I'm very glad I got to see the great T. Gwynn play so much.
  3. if ur tryin to be royalty i say the suites... but if not id say right next to the on deck batter
  4. Wrigley Field bleacher seats.
  5. I prefer down on the field even with the first base bag. I can only AFFORD to sit way up in the nose bleed section. That's why I go to minor league games instead. You can sit right behind the dugout for less than 10 dollars!
